Mission to Seafarers
Collectively, there are over 1.89 million seafarers across the world made up of various nationalities. These are men and women often spend up to 9 months at a time far away from their family, friends and loved ones. The Mission to Seafarers supports the men and women working at sea, offering practical support and more.
Seafarers need emotional and frequently spiritual support too. That’s why we have a large network of ordained Port Chaplains who come on board ships, giving seafarers a listening ear and offering prayer, if needed. They can also connect seafarers to other organisations, or speak to them on their behalf.
It is always cold at sea, so the people of All Saints donate toques, gloves, and socks as our way of supporting the Mission to Seafarers.
Community Meal
Twice each month, All Saints offers a sit-down dinner for anyone who walks through the door. These dinners are tasty and nutritious, and between 40 and 70 people are fed on each occasion. These meals draw folks from all walks of life, and are drawn by the the hospitality, friendship, and food that is offered. We are called by God - Creator, Christ, and Spirit - to feed the hungry and befriend the lonely. We do so with joy.
