Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

Here we are, it’s Christmas at last and we’re all ready to pause and experience the hope, peace, love and joy we’ve been waiting for.

Our services will be at 10am and 7pm on Christmas Eve complete with much loved Christmas carols and that wonderful feeling of suppressed excitement they kindle. What are you excited about this year?

The Christmas Day service will be at 10 am. Don’t forget the free Christmas Dinner, hosted by the Brown family. Click here for more details.

There will be no midweek service on 27th December.

We return for a service of Eucharist 31st December at 10am. Reverend Liz will be taking a very well deserved break so we welcome Reverend Andrew Pike to preach and preside.

We wish you all peace and love this Christmas. Our thoughts are with those of you experiencing the first Christmas without a loved one. Those ‘firsts’ seem such huge hurdles. Don’t be fooled by that dreadful phrase “don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened”. There is plenty of room for tears and the sting of loss is often sharper around Christmas. Reminiscing is part of the whole deal at this time of year, I hope the sweet vastly outweighs the bitter as you dwell on Christmasses past and present.
